Better to use photo of cars in stock condition. Because the Celicas are older cars (even the last generation is about 20 years old), I know is quite difficult to find such in good and stock condition. In case there is no photo of certain models in 100% stock, it's OK to use the near stock, say with after-market wheels, but not heavily modified like with non-factory (after market) body kits. Pictures of regular front-wheel-drive Celica with GT-Four hood & bumper should not be chosen.
Depict the pictures of Celica in major markets: Japan, North America, Europe, and Australia. At least one picture for each region.
If a Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) cars exported to other countries, please also mention like JDM spec (model) in (country). Celica21gtfour (talk) 02:34, 17 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
How do you think a photographer would know where the car was imported from unless he was the owner or knew the owner? Lot of photographers just photograph parked cars and such. 39.34.131.68 (talk) 11:28, 17 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I will give an example of why this is important. Assume that somebody finds a Japanese market RA28 built in June 1977 and imports it into Australia. Then it is photographed and displayed in Wikipedia as "RA28 in Australia". The typical reader will think that this image is typical of an RA28 in Australia. Both Japan and Australia are RHD, so it may not be obvious to the casual reader that there is any difference. But a Japanese RA28 will have US style 5 mph bumpers with the plastic end caps while an Australian RA28 will have chrome bumpers without end caps. The typical reader will be misled. The caption must read something like "Japanese market RA28" or possibly "Japanese market RA28 (photographed in Australia)" so that the reader knows that it is typical of a Japanese market vehicle and not typical of an Australian market vehicle.
